Overview:

Oseltamivir, alternatively referred to as Tamiflu, is an antiviral agent utilized to treat as well as to prevent influenza (the flu) that is induced by influenza A and B viruses. It inhibits the activity of an enzyme that is required by the virus to spread within the body and this is neuraminidase.

Oseltamivir helps stop the flu virus from spreading inside your body. It blocks a tool the virus uses to move from one cell to another, so the virus gets stuck and can’t grow. This gives your body a better chance to fight it off and helps you feel better faster.
