Solifenacin is a medication against an overactive bladder. It also aids in the relaxation of the muscles of the bladder hence you cannot experience sudden urges to urinate and you have control over bladder. This will make you visit the bathroom less frequently and reduce the accidents and leakage.

Uses:
This drug or medicine called solifenacin is also administered on individuals who experience urgency to urinate or have frequent need to do so or those who are unable to control their urine at times. It makes the bladder muscles relaxed in order to make you relieve yourself less frequently and make less unexpected or urgent bathroom trips.

How it works:
Solifenacin acts by inhibiting some nerve impulses which stimulate your bladder muscles to squeeze abnormally frequently or forcefully. It reduces the activity of these signals hence the bladder is relaxed thus you do not feel the urge to go to the bathroom at all times.

Precautions:Do not use Solifenacin, if you have glaucoma, urinary retention, stomach or bowel problems, or liver or kidney problems before taking the medication inform your doctor. Dry mouth, blurred vision and dizziness may be experienced when using this medicine hence care needs to be observed when driving or operating any machine.
