ALEX P SYRUP is a combination of chlorpheniramine, menthol, paracetamol, phenylephrine, and sodium citrate, which are classified as antihistamines, cooling agents, analgesics and antipyretics, nasal decongestants, and mucolytics, respectively. It is used to treat nasal and sinus congestion, hay fever-related nose or throat symptoms, upper respiratory tract allergies (symptoms include runny nose, cough, sneezing, watery eyes, sore throat, body ache, and fever), sinus pain, and headaches. It is also used in conjunction with antibiotics for sinusitis, tonsillitis, and otitis media.
