Oraxin syrup contains cyproheptadine a first generation antihistamine that can provide relief from allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives and itching. It is also a very potent appetite stimulant and is indicated for lack of appetite, weight loss and anorexia nervosa (an eating disorder with low body weight). It can also be used by those who are underweight/malnourished to increase appetite to help with weight gain.
