FLUTICASONE
Overview:
Fluticasone is a kind of corticosteroid drug which provides relief to the body in terms of inflammation, swelling and allergy reactions. It is available in different forms, including nasal spray as a swelling treatment, inhaler as an asthma treatment or COPD, and cream or ointment as skin remedies, including eczema or dermatitis.

Uses:
Fluticasone is used to treat allergies, asthma and COPD and some skin diseases. Since it is in the form of a nasal spray, it treats conditions like sneezing, runny nose and other allergic reactions. When applied as an inhaler, it helps deal with asthma and lung complications by reducing lung inflammation. It comes in powdered form, a cream or ointment and treats skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis or rash and aids in providing relief against itching, redness and swelling.
How it works:
The mechanism of action of fluticasone is inhibition of inflammatory processes in the body. Being a corticosteroid, it enters the cells and inhibits the issuing of substances that cause inflammation, swelling, redness, and itch. The act relieves the symptoms of asthma and allergies and also the irritations to the skin. It helps in breathing by calming inflammation in the airways of the lungs and relieving allergic reactions or irritation on the skin or the nose.
