CRITICOLD SYRUP is a combination of Phenylephrine and Chlorpheniramine which belongs to the group of medicines called Nasal decongestants and Antihistamines respectively. It is used to relieve nasal and sinus congestion, allergic symptoms of the nose or throat due to upper respiratory tract allergies, sinus pain and headache. Also, it is used adjunctly with antibacterials to manage sinusitis (inflammation of the tissue lining the sinuses), tonsillitis (inflammation of the tonsils) and otitis media (middle ear infection).
