MEDLER SYRUP is a combination of chlorpheniramine, paracetamol, and phenylephrine, which are antihistamines, analgesics, and nasal decongestants, respectively. It is used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever), the common cold, and other upper respiratory allergies such as headache, facial congestion and pressure, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, minor aches and pains, itching of the nose, throat, or eyes, and watery eyes. It can also be used in conjunction with antibiotics to treat sinusitis (inflammation of the nasal cavities), tonsillitis (inflammation of the tonsils), and otitis media. Hay fever is a seasonal allergy that occurs in response to specific allergens, such as pollen, that are present at specific times of the year (spring or fall) and cause more immediate symptoms.
